The Magdalena Ecke Family YMCA project supports the remodel and expansion of an active community facility in Encinitas, California. Bandak is providing project management services for the renovation of approximately 28,700 square feet of existing space and the addition of new program areas, while coordinating design development, budgeting, and entitlement efforts within an operational campus environment. Through close collaboration with the YMCA, design consultants, contractors, and city agencies, the project advances critical facility improvements aligned with the YMCA’s mission of healthy living and community engagement.

The Cal State University Channel Islands Conservation Center project supports the development of a new, groundup conservation facility on the CSUCI campus in partnership with the Santa Barbara Zoo. Bandak is providing project management services during the program and early design phases, coordinating evaluation of existing conditions, design development, cost management, and alignment of scope, budget, and schedule. The scope included full interior buildout, permitting, and coordination of architectural, structural, and MEP systems to meet stringent healthcare and code requirements within an existing building. IVI RMA Fertility Clinic
IVI RMA Fertility Clinic partnered with the Bandak PM team to prepare a challenging improvement and expansion plan: one that would allow them to remain 100% in operation. By combining strategy with innovation, this multi-phase construction project had little impact on occupants. In fact, many of the clinic’s own staff and patients were unaware of these extensive improvements. Not only did Bandkak PM keep disruptions to a minimum, but they also managed to keep multiple overlapping phases on time, under budget—and under the radar.

OnePlace — Fast-Forwarding the Future of Healthcare Centers

OnePlace
Bandak PM partnered with OnePlace to manage the planning and execution of a first-of-its-kind Neurodevelopmental Research Center. This joint venture partnership between healthcare experts and leading healthcare institutions was holistically designed to support not only the patient, but also the family members navigating their treatments. OnePlace set out with a bold vision: to house all neurodevelopment treatments and their respective resources under one roof, while providing a safe and supportive environment. Bandak PM brought their vision to life by finding the optimal location, preparing the Master Plan schedule and overseeing entitlement reviews and budgets. When completed, OnePlace will be recognized as the gold standard template for all things neurodevelopment.

The Conrad Prebys Foundation
Bandak PM partnered with the city’s legendary philanthropy, The Conrad Prebys Foundation, to construct a spacious, state-of-the-art headquarters where they could continue to create an inclusive, equitable and dynamic future for all San Diegans. During the real estate negotiations, the Bandak team created preliminary budgets and schedules to ensure that the proposed commencement date was attainable. While these talks and the designs took place, the Bandak team supported Prebys with the relocation and restoration of their existing space. Completion is scheduled for June 2024.
